# Connect Google Workspace

Google Workspace directory sync is required for activity tracking and serves as your single source of truth for trackable users. The integration provides automatic one-way synchronization from Google Workspace to Hapstack.

This process requires Google Workspace super admin permissions. If needed, invite a Workspace admin to your Hapstack organization as an admin to complete these steps.

Visit your settings page
Navigate to the Directory Integration section
Connect your Workspace account and grant the requested permissions

The sync may take a minute or two to complete. Once it's finished, synced users will appear in your Hapstack directory.

After completing this step, proceed to extension installation.
